dc.description.abstractWe shall limit ourselves here to a brief discussion of the work done at the Jicamarca Observatory connected either with: a) the geometry of the Magnetic Field or, b) with backscatter from en­hanced fluctuations (non-thermal) produced either by turbulence or by plasma instabilities. Although equally important, work related to the usual ionospheric parameters obtained with in­coherent scatter techniques, like electron densi­ties, temperature, ion composition etc., is not treated here; since our main intention is to under­line what is unique to the Jicamarca Observatory.es_ES
