Abstract
La Comisión Multisectorial ENFEN cambia el estado de sistema de alerta no activo a “Vigilancia de La Niña Costera” debido a que en la actualidad la temperatura superficial del mar en la región Niño 1+2, así como a lo largo de la costa del Perú, presenta una tendencia a condiciones frías débiles en lo que resta del año. Asimismo, tomando en cuenta el monitoreo y el análisis de esta Comisión Multisectorial ENFEN, así como los resultados de los modelos de las Agencias de Pronósticos Internacionales, se considera para el verano 2017-2018 la probabilidad de la presencia de La Niña (64%) para el Pacífico central ecuatorial; mientras que para la región oriental (Región Niño 1+2) se espera condiciones neutras (72%). De presentarse La Niña en el Pacífico central ecuatorial en el verano 2018, se esperaría que las lluvias sean mayores que lo normal en las regiones andina y amazónica.
