dc.description.abstract It is possible to determine the angle of arrival of incoherent scatter echoes coming from points perpendicular to the magnetic field with accuracies of the order of 1 minute of arc. This is accomplished using interferometer techniques. It was used first in 1969 (Woodman, 1970) a Jicamarca to determine the inclination of the magnetic field as a function of altitude. The experiment has been repeated to study the secular variation as a function of altitude. In addition the antenna pointing has been changed to point as far east and west possible (+/-3°) es_ES
